Today was my last day of teaching. I just have to sit in during the midterm exams Tuesday week, and then I’m done. Even though I’m glad that I don’t have to teach anymore (unless someone else gets sick!) I was actually sad to have to go, especially with the students telling me they wanted me to stay to take over the class for the rest of the semester.
Makes you feel loved. It’s wonderful.
Mum, Dad and Melissa have come back to Indonesia. I went to pick them up at the airport. It’s great to have them back. Melissa bought me a birthday present from Barcelona and – being the spoilt little brat that I can sometimes be – I demanded to have it now instead of on Nov 1 – my birthday. She got me an exact replica of the Even Star pendant that Arwen gives to Aragorn in LOTR. It’s sterling silver with Swarovski crystals. I absolutely adore it.
